This week, students have been taking a close look at verbs. As students embark on the creative writing process, it is critical that they have a solid understanding of parts of speech in order to understand sentence structure and build sentence fluency. I have been enjoying working with the students through the creative writing process to apply these concepts and help guide their work as writers.
